In 1995, Randy Donato, Brook Minx, and Bob Brown left a larger firm to form a firm ready to meet the challenges of practicing law in the 21st century. From the outset, the firm made a commitment to the utilization of cutting edge technology in the practice of law. We are capable of creating a virtual office where needed, which has allowed us to try cases throughout the United States.

As we are trial lawyers first and foremost, we have invested heavily in information management and trial presentation software. In the discovery phase we have the ability to completely organize information electronically and link it to all other relevant electronic information in the case. At mediation or trial, exhibits are scanned and bar-coded so they can be displayed instantly to the mediation or jury. On cases that warrant the expense, video depositions are digitized to allow on-the-fly editing and presentation. Gone are the days of requesting to approach a witness and reading from prior testimony. When our lawyers catch a witness in a lie, prior testimony of the witness is immediately before the jury on an eighty-inch screen.

Many of the firm's cases are document intensive. Through the use of information management software, we are able to organize, summarize, display and access information in documents, deposition transcripts, electronic documents, summaries, and outlines in a fraction of the time required of other firms. Through the use of scanning technology we have our pertinent documents at our fingertips worldwide. Large document productions can be imaged and electronically linked to document summaries and deposition transcripts. By organizing information electronically, we literally have information at our fingertips rather than having to spend countless hours looking for documents in a file drawer.

We have also invested heavily in the latest in billing and accounting software. As many of our cases involve multiple insurers with varying percentages of the loss, we have put a premium on flexible billing software that produces a self-explanatory bill. We are also equipped to comply with diverse billing codes required by many insurers.
