DMBP Defending Champs Cook Up Winning Chili for Charity

The Donato, Minx, Brown & Pool culinary cohort, led by DMBP CEO and Founding Director Randy Donato, has once again taken the honor of "Best Chili" at the 2nd Annual Houston Bar Association Auxiliary's Chili & Pie Cook-off event, benefiting the HBAA Charitable Fund, Inc. Scholarship.

Sitting honorable Judges from area counties and municipalities selected the award-winning chilies based on taste, consistency, color, aroma, and overall presentation. This fun-filled, family-friendly event took place at the Bayou City Event Center Pavilion on January 30th, 2016.

The HBAA Charitable Fund, Inc. Scholarship is awarded to eligible second-year law students in the Houston area, who are Texas state residents. According to the HBA Auxiliary website, the Charitable Fund "awards $5,000.00 scholarships annually to deserving students at Houston area law schools... based on scholastic achievement, need and community involvement."
