                     net recovery.

The facts.

The City of Austin, our client, filed a suborgation suit over the explosion and ensuing fire of an autotransformer, manufactured by Pauwels Canada, Inc.  A flashover of the dielectric insulating shaft in the B Phase tapchanger, manufactured by Reinhausen, caused the explosion. Further investigation revealed the dielectric insulating shaft was damaged during testing while on the test floor at Pauwels.

The settlement.

The settlement, $2,700,000, reflects140% of the full damages (full damages plus pre-judgment interest).
